To many people, the B-3 Sheepskin Bomber Jacket defines the term "bomber jacket." The B-3 Jacket recalls images of the brave bomber crews who manned the B-17s and B-24s in the skies over Europe during WWII.  The B-3 is THE classic WWII sheepskin "Bomber" jacket! B-17s and B-24s were not pressurized... and the unheated cabins got awfully cold at altitude! This was the jacket that kept our bomber crews warm during their perilous missions in the skies over Europe. The B-3 jacket is clearly a winner in both warmth and style... even non-aviators like Gen. George Patton chose to wear a specially-modified version of the B-3 (instead of the standard tanker's jacket)! The B-3 features: sheepskin, tanned from thick Nappa Leather, all-natural sheep fur, leather welted seams, brass zipper, and buckled collar and waist-adjustment straps. The B-3 also features two front handwarmer pockets, a practical convenience which the original B-3s lacked (the originals only had a small map pouch). You can rely on this classic heavyweight to keep you warm on the coldest winter day, and you can count on its enduring style to survive the fickle trends of fashion! Color: brown. Made in the USA.

This "museum quality" reproduction is authentically patterned after the russet colored B-3s that were issued in early 1942. It features the single horsehide front "map" pocket (original WWII B-3s did not have front handwarmer pockets like modern B-3 reproductions have), horsehide covered reinforced sleeves, and horsehide shoulder tabs for attaching officer rank insignia. It also features a vintage label, a USAAF insignia on the left sleeve, horsehide belting straps on the waist for the perfect fit, and horsehide belting straps around the authentic snap-down shearling collar. This is a B-3 any collector or WWII buff would be proud to own and wear, with the same look and fit of the 1942 originals! Color: russet brown. Made in the USA.

This jacket follows the 1938 Irvin Airchute Co. pattern and was worn by the pilots of the RAF during the Battle of Britain. Constructed from hand-cut American sheepskin pelts and features zippered cuffs, leather welted seams, adjustable leather collar strap, leather waist belt, and full front zipper over wind flap. Also includes side-entry handwarmer pockets (a modern convenience not found on the originals). A very warm and stylish jacket. Color: brown. Made in the USA.

Standardize for both the USAAF and USN in 1943, the ANJ-4 was the last flight jacket to be made from shearling sheepskin. Designed to replace the aging B-3, the ANJ-4 boasted numerous improvements over the B-3 in warmth, durability and practicality. This stylish waist-length "bomber" jacket features thick sheep wool for warmth, two front cargo pockets, antiqued brass zipper, interior knit cuffs and, as a concession to modern times, side-entry handwarmer pockets (which the originals lacked). It's the ultimate cold weather jacket! Made in the USA.

The Alpha B-7 Parka is a reproduction of the WWII classic, worn by the USAAF in cold weather environments. The B-7 features a very soft lambhide shell (making it very comfortable from the start, with no "break-in" period), nappa cowhide pockets & reinforcement pieces, and a warm plush lining. It also features a fully lined hood with coyote fur trim and drawcord adjustment, button-closed windflap over a heavy-duty front zipper, two deep open-top front map/cargo pockets, two zippered front gear pockets, and neck closure strap with antiqued brass buckle. This stylish parka will keep you warm and looking good when the weather turns nasty, and the garment's extra length provides more warmth and protection from the elements than a jacket. Imported.
